Why do people work so hard
To act older than they really are?
As if they want to skip their childhood
I find that so bizarre!
That they want to skip the best part of life
Free of bills and responsibility
And quickly drop the childish things
To enter the realm of maturity.
As for me, I think
That being a kid is great!
So give the childhood time they skip to me
And not one minute of it I'll hate!
