What would the world be like
If only one language were spoken?
You could say something funny to someone in China
And they would know you were only jokin'.
What would the world be like
If we knew what was in each other's heads?
We would know what everyone thought
Instead of wondering, lying around in our beds.
What would the world be like
If love took over the violence in school?
Exchanging hugs instead of guns
Kids could actually learn, very cool.
What would the world be like
If people confessed when they were to blame?
Instead of trying to pass it around
Like it is some kind of game.
What would the world be like
If mankind had never been birthed?
And it was only the plants and animals
That ruled this fragile earth.
